Kevin Alves – Host

Originally from the MS Gulf Coast, Kevin has been working as an actor in the Storefront Theater scene since his move to Chicago 9 years ago. Some of his favorite roles include a three year run as SQuja’ (Scrooge) in Commedia Beauregard’s A Klingon Christmas Carol, Harold Bloodstone in The Factory Theater’s Hotel Aphrodite, and Edward Reeve in the Discovery Channel’s 3D documentary Fields of Valor: Civil War. In the past few years, he has also stepped into the world of writing. His short horror radio play, Louis, was a finalist in the WildClaw Theatre’s yearly writing competition, Deathscribe, as well as winning two out of three bouts in the bare knuckle literary battle, Write Club.

Kim Boler – Co-host
Hailing from Clinton, MS, Kim has been working in the Chicago Storefront theater scene for the past 9 years. She has kicked ass in such roles as Luscious Lola Knight in The Factory Theater’s The Last Big Mistake, Tonker in Lifeline Theatre’s Monstrous Regiment, and Loa in Akvavit Theatre’s Blue Planet. You can also catch her in the Bruised Orange Theater Company’s weekly hit comedy show “I Saw You” as well as the monthly live lit sketch show CASSANDRA.

Clark Bender – Sound/Editing/All Around Great Guy
Clark Bender has worked in the digital media industry since the 1990’s, most recently with the Chicago Tribune and Tribune Publishing. He’s also done some acting in the Chicago community including a five-year run in A Klingon Christmas Carol with a year as SQuja’ (Scrooge). He’s currently formulating video and digital media plans for the Chicago theatre scene so get in touch!
